Apple pie doesn’t have to be a complicated 4 hour process!  This recipe shows you how to make the PERFECT apple pie in less than 45 minutes!

Is it just me or does it feel like it’s raining absolutely everywhere right now?  In everyone’s stories, I’m seeing crazy rain storms with insane lightning and thunder.

Here in central Texas, we’ve been getting crazy rain almost every day!  (I’m currently writing this standing on my back porch while the rain is pouring. ☺️) All this rain has been making me want to bake so much!

Does anyone else have that?  Stormy weather always pulls out my inner Mary Berry. (If you know who that is, you’re a real one.😉)  I’ve already baked two cakes, a few batches of cookies, and now, this delicious apple pie!

This wonderful recipe comes from my Aunt in Ukraine!  It’s incredibly easy but at the same time, super delicious!  I can’t wait any longer, let’s get baking!

The beauty of this pie is how incredibly easy it is!  It’s perfect for those occasions when you try some fancy dessert, mess it up, then end up sad because you’re left with nothing yummy to eat. (No need to be ashamed.  We’ve all been there.😂)  This apple pie can be whipped up in 10 minutes, baked for 25, then be ready to enjoy!  Here’s how to make it:

  • Whip together eggs, sugar, and vanilla
  • Then slowly mix in the flour

That’s it for the batter!  (Whipping together the eggs and sugar gives the pie enough lift for it to hold its shape so no need for a rising agent.)

To make the pie:

  • Put diced apples on into the pie tin (I recommend glass or ceramic for this recipe.  Try to steer clear of metal.)
  • Sprinkle a bit of cinnamon onto the apples
  • Add chopped walnut/pecans on top
  • Lastly, pour the batter over it all

Pop that into a 375 degree oven and bake for 25 minutes.

In the end, you have a beautiful apple pie that everyone is going to enjoy!
