Smashed golden Potatoes

Ingredients
 8 small golden potatoes
 salt (to taste)
 garlic powder (to taste)
 4 tbsp oil (roughly)

Wash then boil golden potatoes until they are soft when punctured with a fork or knife.

Let them cool for at least 10 minutes then begin smashing them. To do this, grab a smooth, clean towel and press down on each potato with the palm of your hand until its about 1/4 inch thick. Sprinkle with salt and garlic powder to taste, then get a spatula and flip it onto a well oiled baking sheet. Sprinkle the new top side with a bit more salt and garlic powder. Repeat this step with the rest of the potatoes.

Drizzle a little bit of oil on top of all the potatoes and bake in a broiler for 10 minutes. Just be sure to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn’t burn. (Everyone’s oven cooks at different speeds.) When the potato's edges are golden brown pull them out of the oven. Let cool for a few minutes then enjoy! <3
