Baked French Fries

 4 russet potatoes
 2 tbsp olive oil
 1 ½ tsp salt
 ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Wash, peel, and slice the potatoes into even-sized fry pieces. Let them soak in water for at least 30 minutes or up to 12 hours. When done, drain the water, drizzle them with a little bit of oil, and add salt and garlic powder.

On a baking sheet, put a large piece of parchment paper and a drizzle a little bit more oil. Spread out all the potatoes on this baking sheet so they lie completely flat. (Use 2 baking sheets if necessary.)

Put it into the oven for about an hour, or until the potatoes are soft. Be sure to flip them every 15 minutes to keep form burning. Let cool for a couple of minutes then serve! Enjoy! <3
