This peanut butter banana smoothie bowl is such a delicious and easy breakfast for summer mornings! It takes less than 10 ingredients and only 5 minutes!
As summer is coming upon us, I’ve started bringing a lot more summery type things into my days. This includes things like paddle boarding, swimming, and fishing! On top of summer activities, I feel like I change up my diet a bit in the summer. I don’t know if that’s just me but I begin eating a lot more fresh fruits and veggies as a part of my daily meals.
Today’s recipe is a delicious summery breakfast that I have been completely OBSESSED with!
I checks all the boxes that I’m looking for.
- Fresh Fruit
- Cold + Refreshing
- Heathy
It’s seriously so perfect!
On top of being really delicious, this breakfast is so easy! I love that I can have a yummy + healthy breakfast ready in less than ten minutes. That is so convenient for mornings when you are in a huge hurry, like I am most of the time. 🙂
In full honesty, I’m not sure if I can call this a breakfast or if its more of a dessert. 😉 If you’ve ever heard of nice cream (banana ice cream), then you’ll understand where this recipe comes from.
I make the smoothie bowl creamy, I blend frozen bananas into an amazing smooth “ice cream” like consistency. It’s so good!
I’ve just told my self that even though some people may eat this as a dessert if I add some granola or fruit on top, it defiantly counts as breakfast. Right?😂
Also, if you love how this smoothie bowl tastes but you want to make it more transportable, feel free to add some more almond milk to make it a bit more liquid. This way you can it on the road wherever you go. 🙂

Note
- If you want your smoothie bowl to be a bit more thick, just use 1 whole frozen banana instead of 1/2 frozen 1/2 fresh.
