I’m going to be honest with y’all, over the course of quarantine my attempt at a healthy diet has sort of gone out the window. It’s not been terribly unhealthy, I’ve just lost any schedule that I had before quarantine. Instead of having breakfast, lunch, and dinner at reasonable times, I eat brunch at 11/12 then a snack at four-ish and dinner after my workout at nine.🤭
I’m not completely proud of my regime at the moment but that doesn’t mean I don’t have time to change it before school starts again. This recipe is my first step towards that new schedule.
I don’t know about y’all but getting up early is way easier for me when I have some things to look forward to. So what should I look forward to in order
Why I love This Breakfast
This greek yogurt breakfast bowl specifically has been my absolute favorite for multiple reasons!
Reason one is that it’s easy. I have no intention of getting up in the morning and then spending 1-2 hours making breakfast. (I have more to do in the day than that haha!) Instead, I like breakfast that is ready in five minutes and something I can take on the go. This greek yogurt bowl checks both of those boxes!
Reason number two might be even more important than the first: this yogurt bowl is so incredibly delicious!! Like, it’s so good! Creamy greek yogurt, crunchy granola, and fresh berries come together to make the perfect breakfast.
Reason number three is that this bowl is super filling! My days are usually pretty long and full of working on the blog and running errands so I need meals that will support my busy life. This yogurt bowl is just it! It’s high in protein and fat so it gives me energy for long periods of time!
