 7 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
 Sea Salt
Dry Ingredients
 1 cup all purpose flour
 ¼ cup cocoa powder
 1 tsp baking powder
 ¼ tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
½ cup butter (if salted, use a bit less salt in the dry ingredients)
  cup light brown sugar
 ½ cup white sugar
 2 eggs
1

Begin by heating your oven to 350 degrees farenheight. Pull out your baking sheet and, if necessary, grease it or line with parchment paper. Depending on how large your baking sheet is, you might need to prepare a second one. The cookies have to go into the oven at the same time so plan accordingly ;).

2

Combine the butter and sugars in a large mixing bowl. Then add the rest of the wet ingredietns. Pay close attention to oyur batter to ensure that your egg whites are completly incorperated with the rest of the mixture. Then, in a separate bowl, put all your dry ingredients through a sifter and whisk them together.

3

Set the wet and dry ingredients aside and grab a small saucepan. In the saucepan put all the chocolate chips and melt them on the stove at low heat. Make sure to not burn the chocolate by turning your heat on too high. Once the chips are just melted turn the heat off and gather all your parts of the batter together.

4

This is where the race with the clock begins! Begin by folding in the chocolate into the wet ingredients. Once mostly combined, add in the dry ingredients. Mix until the batter is mostly combined, try not to over mix. Now scoop the cookies onto the baking sheet(s) and pop them into the pre-heated oven for 11-14 minutes. (The amount of time your cookies are in the oven will depend on how gooey you like your cookies.)

5

Right after you pull the cookies out of the oven, salt them depending on your desired amount of saltiness. (Look at the pictures above as a reference.) Let them cool for at least 15 minutes, then ENJOY!
