These 4 savory breakfast toast recipes are easy, unique, and, most importantly, so easy to make! What are you waiting for? Get cooking! 😉
Now that quarantines are being lifted and life is sort of going back to some resemblance of normal, I’ve started going back into a routine. This means getting up a little earlier, getting ready for the day, and actually having breakfast.
It’s been so long since I’ve had to be in this routine that I was kinda stumped! After a few boring breakfasts, I knew I had to think of somethin quick and easy but still super delicious. The answer was toast!
Toast is easy, super yummy, and actually pretty healthy.
But, the question is: how do you make it interesting? In the blog post I show you 4 really great savory breakfast toast ideas.
Here’s is what I came up with:
Basic Avocado Toast
This one is the perfect basic avocado toast. It’s pretty much guaranteed that anyone that you make this for will like it.;) I really love the combo of basil and black pepper. One has some kick and the other brings a really great flavor to spice up the plain avocado.
Base – Mayo
Toppings – avocado, basil, black pepper, sea salt
Drizzle – Olive Oil
Tomato + Egg
This toast is
- Base – mayo
- Topping – soft boiled egg, sliced tomato(optional), and salt
Balsamic + Basil
I’m gonna be honest, this one is kinda out there haha. With a base of cream cheese, it’s a pretty unconventional savory toast. But, don’t be scared of it!! It’s actually really good!! The cream cheese has the perfect texture to go with the crunchy toast. I also love the combo of balsamic vinegar and basil with fresh tomatoes!👏
- Base – cream cheese
- Toppings – basil, sliced tomatoes, salt
- Drizzle – olive oil, balsamic
Pesto Avocado Dream (aka my favorite!!)
I’m absolutely OBSESSED with this last toast. It’s so easy and incredibly delicious. The addition of pesto really transforms the flavor of the breakfast.
- Base – pesto
- Topping – avocado, salt, Italian seasoning(optional)
- Drizzle – olive oil
